- Caledonian Foundation USA
(Sarasota, FL) - 'The Caledonian Foundation USA (TCF/USA) was incorporated as a private foundation in 1976. Broadly stated, its purpose is to preserve and strengthen the traditional bonds among Scotland, Canada and the United States. Its specific purpose is to preserve and promote the music, arts and culture of Scotland, and to educate the public in this regard. '
- Council of Scottish Clans and Associations, Inc.
(Moultrie, GA) - The Council's mission is 'to preserve and promote the customs, traditions, and heritage of the Scottish people educating the public as to Scottish history, literature, music, poetry, art, and architecture. Additionally, the Council shall, through a variety of means, provide service to the various clan and family associations of the Scottish community.'
- International Association of Tartan Studies/Tartan Educational Cultural Association (IATS/TECA)
(Skippack, PA) - '(IATS/TECA) is dedicated to providing accurate information on tartan and its history. It represents the Scottish Tartans Authority in North American and maintains a master archive of tartans, setts and variations (approaching 5,000 in 1998) from which it provides information and research, as well as assistance in designing tartans or recording new ones.'
- Living Legacy of Scotland, Inc.
(Washington, D.C.) - 'The Living Legacy of Scotland, Inc., was founded in March 2000 and incorporated in the District of Columbia as a nonprofit corporation with a dual purpose: first, to preserve the rich heritage of people of Scottish birth or descent and the many contributions they have made to this country and to the world; and second, to ensure that this heritage remains a vital, living stimulus to future accomplishments.'
- Scottish Coalition:
The Scottish Coalition is composed of eight national organizations serving the Scottish-American community, principally through research, long-term planning, and as a resource for information and guidance. Its shared vision is that fruitful and mutually supportive relationships can be forged between individuals and organizations in the United States and in Scotland, in order to assure that the unique Scottish identity and heritage shall become better known and more widely celebrated for the benefit of peoples throughout the world.
- New York Caledonian Club
The New York Caledonian Club is a 501(c)(3) non - profit charitable, educational and literary organization and is open to anyone who has an interest in Scotland. The Club offers a Scottish Studies program. There are courses in Scottish Gaelic, Scottish Highland Dancing, and Scottish Highland Bagpipes.'

The Saltire Society of New York's goal is to arrange events that introduce Scottish contributions to the population in general. Society events include lectures and concerts.
- Scottish Heritage USA (Pinehurst, NC) - 'Scottish Heritage USA was founded in 1965 by Ward Melville "to recognize and enhance the original bonds of ancestral and national character among the peoples of Scotland and North America."'
